A Week With Me #1

No, I won’t become a YouTuber. But I do want to tell you how my week went.

I won’t be making weekly vlogs. You won’t find me filming my coffee with gentle morning light (though sometimes that happens, too).
But I do want to try something new—a quiet kind of weekly story. A few notes from the studio, shop, and life—just enough to feel like we sat down for a short letter.

So… here’s how my week looked.

🧭 The biggest thing: I got the keys.

Let’s start with the big one — I got an office.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably seen me mention it already, but yes, I got the keys last week. It’s a small space, but it’s mine (and my husband’s) now. And it’s going to be the home of my sticker-making and other bits of creative mess.

Most of the week was a strange mix of working and furnishing. I kept going back and forth between cutting stickers and scrolling through white desks. One day I was printing new Postcrossing stickers, the next — lifting furniture.

But it’s also exciting. Something is shifting.
There’s a new project moving under the surface. It’s still quiet, but it’s mine. And it’s moving.

In the shop

I created a new sticker set just for Postcrossing. And I restocked a few designs that had quietly disappeared (you liked them more than I expected).

Also, there’s a new little block on the homepage called If I had to choose three… — these are my current favourites. I’ll try to update them weekly. They’re not always the bestsellers, but they’re what I actually use, love, or keep next to my teacup.

In the book I just finished

I read The Letter Carrier by Francesca Giannone.
It reminded me how important postal workers used to be. Trusted. Essential. Sometimes the only link between families and the outside world. It made me proud to be part of this world — even if I just make postcards for it.

In real life

This week, my husband, our dog Bitė and I are heading to Estonia for a SAR training camp. It’s for search and rescue — we’ll be training, learning, sleeping badly, and hopefully finding some people in the forest (the simulated kind).

If you’ve read this far — thank you. I’m not planning to become a YouTuber (no one needs to see my morning hair), but I do want to share these little weekly moments. A bit of what I do, what I think, what moves me. No pressure. No perfect schedule. Just some real pages from the week.

Until next time,
Salomėja
