A Week With Me #2

Life, packing breaks, SAR training & an idea I’m not telling you about yet.

I’m not trying to turn this into a routine.
But there’s something nice about writing down a week, not a big story, just a handful of moments that mattered. Some quiet chaos, a few small victories, and the usual mess that is running a tiny business while living a full life.

So here’s a bit of what last week looked like, from new tools and sticker plans to muddy boots, SAR camp, and a fresh bestseller list.

Monday

I spent the whole day preparing the shop to survive without me. There was no drama, just content planning, newsletters, banners, updates, and posts. I also wandered around the new office space, trying to find the most natural layout. You know that feeling when the furniture is in place but something still doesn’t feel right? Too many things!

Tuesday

Advent sticker calendar design day. Well, half-successful design day. March slipped through my fingers, so now April has to do double duty. I didn’t finish all four designs I hoped for, but a couple are already done and cut. Progress is progress.

Wednesday

An important arrival: sublimation gear. We spent the day testing it and dreaming up potential future products. I’m not saying anything definite yet, but I’m excited. My brain loves new tools and possibilities.

Also, I created a new shop section called “Last week’s bestsellers” for the home page. Surprise – six bestselling products last week definitely are not the same as the week before. I’ll show both screenshots just for fun. I see mail mail-related theme was popping. Maybe because I created the category “everything for postcrossing”.

Thursday to Sunday

We packed our backpacks, the dog’s gear, and headed to Estonia for a SAR camp. My husband and I are volunteers learning how to search for missing people. We came back late Sunday, muddy, tired, but full of impressions.

And now? I have 20+ orders waiting. Thank you for the support. I’ll pack them as soon as possible starting tomorrow.

Also…

Right before leaving to Estonia, I had an idea for a really fun postcard series. Like, actually-fun. But I’m keeping it a secret until it’s more than a scribble.

That’s my week—messy, creative, tiring, and full of little steps forward.
And now I’m curious: how was yours?
Did you send something lovely?
Did anything unexpected arrive in your mailbox?

I’d love to hear.
