August is usually a quiet month in my shop, and this year it was even stranger than usual. I was away on vacation for two full weeks, so the month ended up being half business, half holiday mode. This is the first time I’ve shared statistics like this. I’ve been thinking: why keep all the fun (and chaos) of statistics just for myself, when you might enjoy a peek too? 📊 After all, numbers tell their own little stories of where postcards travel, which designs keep flying off the shelves, and which ones… don’t.
And don’t worry, I’m not about to drown you in spreadsheets. This is postcards, not corporate accounting. Let’s try?
🌍 Orders by country
Germany and Lithuania together made up just over half of all August orders (26% + 25%). Then came the USA and the Netherlands (5% each), followed by Portugal, Austria, Finland, Poland, and Belgium (around 4% each). France joined in with a few orders too.
Now, full honesty: these numbers are already a bit skewed, because some of the US orders will have to be refunded thanks to the new import tariffs US💸 (not the kind of surprise anyone likes). It’s because our Post Office suspended all parcels even the single postcards. Auch.
💶 Spending by country
Germany again takes the crown with about a quarter of the total, Lithuania follows with 17%, and France, Belgium, and the USA are in the 6–8% range.
So, as you see Germany is number one by orders and by spending. Lithuania is in the second place. And for example, Belgium is 9th by orders, but 4th by total order value. Netherlands – 4th by order number, and 8th by value. Very interesting numbers! Don’t you think so?

Too many boxes, too much tape, not enough coffee and time. Also, my packing table didn’t miss me at all during those two vacation weeks 🙃 I have a lot of ideas for future products, but they should wait until I’ll pack all orders!
