October at FavoritePostcard.com was a month full of paper, planning, and a little pre-holiday chaos. Between celebrating World Postcard Day, launching Christmas postcards 2025, and introducing a whole wave of new stickers and bookmarks, it finally started to feel like the most magical (and busiest) time of the year.
💌 The Start of the Month: World Postcard Day and the Big Sale
The month began with a celebration of all things mail-related, World Postcard Day!
It’s usually one of the biggest days of the year in the shop, and, as always, I ran my largest annual sale with 20% off all postcards.
Still, this year was a reminder that 2025 hasn’t been the easiest. Postcard sales were lower than last year’s WPD, even though the enthusiasm among Postcrossers stayed strong. It’s a quieter time everywhere, but the love for postcards remains beautifully alive.
✨ Mid-October: Christmas Postcards and Advent Calendars
By mid-month, the shop turned festive with the launch of Christmas postcards and Advent calendars.
The response was incredible: the Mini Sticker Sheet Advent Calendar sold out within the first day, and around 70% of the Exclusive Postcard Advent Calendars found their new homes right away.
A few copies of the Exclusive Postcard Advent Calendar are still waiting for their people, and if you’re one of those who loves a daily paper surprise, don’t wait too long.
📚 End of the Month: Bookmarks and Stickers Galore
October ended with a big stationery update full of new bookmarks, stickers, and memo pads.
The designs range from cozy winter scenes to gothic Christmas twists: perfect small gifts for readers, writers, and snail-mail lovers.
The new arrivals fit beautifully into the season of gifting, and it’s been lovely to see how many of you already started collecting them for Advent or Christmas parcels.

Yes! Shipments to the United States have officially resumed. All U.S. orders now include prepaid customs fees, so you won’t need to pay anything extra upon delivery. You’ll see the fees line in your shopping cart.
Will there be more Advent calendars?
The mini sticker version is sold out, but a few Exclusive Postcard Calendars are still available (at the moment I write this post). Once they’re gone, they’re gone, these are limited-edition releases created just for 2025. Also MAXI sticker sheet calendar is available.
